![]() It offers space for up to seven in its upscale cabin and buyers can choose from two V-6 engines: either an efficient diesel or a thirsty-but-muscly supercharged gasoline-powered engine. Not only is it a genuine go-anywhere SUV, it's also good at toting the family around town and ticking off errands from your weekend to-do list. The moral of the story for you is simple, don't buy a Land Rover product, this is our recommendation after driving them on/off for 20-years.Off-roading and luxury rarely go hand-in-hand, but the 2020 Land Rover Discovery is the perfect vehicle for this rare intersection of automotive categories. ![]() Moral of our story will be to drive these for another 3 years, and trade them in for Ford, Toyota (Lexus) or Jeep. The Dealership has been super responsive and helpful while the work on a DFT (Dealer Facilitated Trade) for the Discovery (but no promises). But, once again I am sitting on two vehicles that have lost a significant amount of their value and I'm back and forth to the service facility. We have serious mixed emotions, the Land Rover products are awesome in the snow, off-road and as daily haulers. The Range Rover Sport is having the brake issues and software issues and has enjoyed about 8 days in the shop. So, after racking up 7,000 miles and 5 months, the Discovery has been in the shop 18 days, major brake issues (sticking), software issues, and AEB issues. After, NEVER having … any issues with Toyota or Lexus for 4-years, we made the decision to go back to Land Rover and give the company the benefit of the doubt and purchased a 2018 Discovery (new from dealer) and 2018 Range Rover Sport (new from dealer) and both in cash. We've owned Land Rover products for nearly 20 years, and 5 years ago we left for Toyota (we purchased a 4runner and a Lexus SUV) because the frustrations of owning a Land Rover were interrupting our life (the service manager and Land Rover and I used to joke, that I should park the cars at the dealership, because they spent more time in the shop than in my garage). Also many times I called and texted Maria the sales rep to ask her to help me to find out what was going on but she only answered once and said she was going to call me back… still waiting for that… (GREAT JOB GUYS) definitely will never buy or recommend anyone to buy from this place… DMV could be as backed up as you want to think but if the delay is due to the lack of responsibility from the dealer staff I’ll save the headache, time and better go somewhere else next time, I brought 5 brand new cars in 2021 for business and personal use and all other 4 got my tags on 3 months but Del Chevrolet got first place having me to wait over 5 months for them =p AutoCheck Vehicle History Summary ![]() I leased a 2021 Chevy Silverado back in August 27th and today 1/25/22 had to go for the 3rd time to DMV to request a third temporary tag =o such a waste of time… Several times I spoked to the title & tags dept and they kept blaming the DMV for the delay til today I got tired of their game and asked to speak to the GM, he sent me the proof of when they sent the paper work to the DMV and found out that it was sent 3 months later because they said they were missing a doc that I personally dropped off 2 days later from when I got the truck, they misplaced it and no one said anything. If you want to have to go to the DMV 3 times to get temporary Tags this is the dealer you want to buy at…. Located in Paoli, PA / 83 miles away from Newark, NJ I have never seen such audacity and contempt from a car dealer. I finally had to loudly demand my car keys back so that I could get out of there. ![]() I refused to do business with them and asked for my car keys back at least five times but they kept ignoring my request, keeping me trapped in the office. The offer they gave me was to pay $36,000, including my trade-in! They essentially wanted me to pay $1,000 over MSRP AND give them my trade-in for free! I don’t know if they treated me like this because I am a woman, or if they treat all their customers with contempt. The MSRP is $35,000 and my trade-in value was $7,600 - $9,400 (per Edmunds link provided on the VW website).
